St Benedict’s Parish

Downside Abbey’s local parish is based at St Benedict’s church, Stratton on the Fosse. The church was built to the designs of Charles Hansom and completed in 1857.

The parish is served by Dom Martin Gowman, a monk of the monastic community of St Gregory’s.

MASS TIMES

Saturdays:  5 p.m

Sundays:      11 a.m

Confessions are heard from 4.30 to 5.00 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10.30 to 11.00 a.m. on Sundays.
