Welcome! Whether you are a regular parishioner, new to the parish, returning to the Church, a visitor, or perhaps just interested in what we do, our parish community extends a warm welcome to you all.

Fr Michael has been Parish Priest since 1996 and has recently been joined by an assistant Parish Priest, Fr Leo. Both are Benedictine monks from Downside Abbey.

The Roman Catholic Parish of St Benedict’s covers an extensive area including Midsomer Norton, Radstock and surrounding villages. St Benedict’s, our main church, is located in the village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse. However, some weekday services are also held at The Holy Ghost located in Midsomer Norton.

Fr Michael and Fr Leo are available (contact details below) to help you with any queries you may have regarding sacraments and other services offered by the Church. This website tells you almost everything you need to know about our parish life, so enjoy exploring it.
