Downside Abbey’s local parish is based at St Benedict’s Church, Stratton-on-the-Fosse. The church was built to the designs of Charles Hansom and completed in 1857.

The parish is served by monks from Downside who say Mass and hear confessions as well as conducting parish pastoral work.
