VOLUNTEER CHRISTMAS MEAL

This week Downside Abbey hosted a Christmas meal for the volunteers who help us across the site.

A way for the monastery to thank the volunteers who make the Abbey Visitor Centre and archives and library tick along, the meal is an annual event and one much enjoyed! This year we were treated to a three course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. A great time was had by all. 

We wish our volunteers a very happy Christmas and look forward to a fantastic 2020 working with them all.
