CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES

In the midst of the decorations, Christmas cards and present buying and wrapping, a number of people have been in touch to ask about Christmas Mass times at Downside Abbey. We will be celebrating Christmas Masses as follows:

Christmas Eve

4pm                 Parish Vigil Mass in the Abbey Church (guitars, carols)

11pm               ‘Midnight’ Mass in the Abbey Church (choir)

Christmas Day

9am                 Parish Mass in St Benedict’s Church

10am               Conventual Mass in the Abbey Church (Plainchant and a couple of carols)

11am               Parish Mass in St Benedict’s Church

There is no 6pm Mass in St Benedict’s Church

Times of weekday Masses will be announced soon.
