Record Attendance at Downside’s Corpus Christi Procession!

St. Benedict’s Church was full, almost to overflowing, with worshippers attending this year’s Corpus Christi Procession.

Bishop Declan Lang presided at Vespers, before the Congregation, including the Monastic Community, processed to the Abbey Church in glorious sunshine. Hymns were sung (at some volume!) during the Procession. Once in the Abbey Church, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction followed. It was a beautiful celebration, with many staying for refreshments afterwards in the Weld Cafe.
