Christian Unity Week 2018

Each year, we take part in Christian Unity Week, in partnership with our friends at Wells Cathedral. 

Christian Unity Week is traditionally observed from 18th – 25th January, during which time those taking part pray for the unity of the Church. 

The Monastic Community of Downside sang Vespers at Wells Cathedral on Friday evening, before their Choir of Wells Cathedral return to Downside to sing Choral Evensong on Sunday. This year, pupils and staff from Downside School joined members of the Monastic Community to sing, before the Pipe Band played – in very cold weather! – in Wells.
