Young Catholic Adult Holy Land Pilgrims’ Reunion 2017

Many of the Pilgrims who travelled to the Holy Land this summer, together with some young people new to Downside, attended a Reunion Retreat at the weekend.

As well as reminiscing about their adventures in the Holy Land, they joined the Monastic Community in the Divine Office, and assisted at Sunday Mass. Fr. Leo, Fr. Anselm, and Fr. Matt Anscombe, Clifton Diocese Vocations Director, also provided instruction about the Trinity, that generated many questions, and much discussion.

Further events including Retreats, Pilgrimages, meals out, and walks are planned, and it is hoped that the group will grow so that there is continuing support for these young people. The next Retreat, to be held jointly with Clifton Diocese 1st – 3rd December 2017, is for those interested in discovering the Vocation to which they are called, and further details can be found here.
