Over the last few days we have been recognising the efforts of our team of volunteers as part of national Volunteers Week. 

The hard work and enthusiasm of the volunteers who work in the Monastery Archives and Library is extremely important and the last week gives us a chance to show our appreciation for this. What better way to do this than with cake! 

Over the last few years we have gone from strength to strength, opening up more and more of our collections and making exciting discoveries. Much of this has been achieved thanks to our volunteer base. 

So this Volunteers Week we are saying a huge thank you to each and everyone of our exceptional volunteers.
