The Downside Lectures

In 2008 Abbot Aidan Bellenger launched The Abbot’s Forum, a series of popular lectures on a variety of Downside related themes. It is with great pleasure that the recently established Heritage Department has relaunched this important outreach mission, now known as The Downside Lectures.
The first lecture takes place on Friday 30th June from 9.30am until 4pm and tickets can be booked here. The papers of the first event will look at the lives of Bishops Brownlow, Clifford and Russell with papers from Dr Giles Mercer, Canon Tony Harding and Dr Simon Johnson.
The Downside Lectures will take place each month, make sure you check back with us for confirmed dates!
