PARISHIONERS RAISE MONEY FOR CAFOD

On the 9^th December, a social evening providing soup and puddings along with festive music took place in St Benedict’s Parish Centre; 35 people attended and were treated to 4 flavours of delicious soup, served with bread rolls and a selection of cheeses.  

The soup course was followed by some very fine and varied puddings, all beautifully presented and equally delicious. After the food, the audience were treated to a selection of Christmas songs and carols including some of the old favourites like Jingle Bells and White Christmas; everyone joined in with the singing and a festive atmosphere soon developed.  A very big thank you to the cooks and musicians who made this a very memorable evening.
