LIVING A LITURGICAL LIFE

‘Klein aber fein’ (small but great) as the Germans say. Three young men came to Downside recently to take part in our retreat thinking about ‘Living a Liturgical Life’, aimed at men considering the possibility of a vocation to the priesthood or religious life.

All forms of Christian life involve engagement with the Liturgy, and so Dom Anselm gave talks on prayer and the Divine Office, and Dom James spoke about Praying the Mass. The participants seemed to gain a great deal from their visit, and the discussions were stimulating.
