Our latest idea to generate interest in the archives here at Downside has launched and we are happy to share that you can now do online jigsaws of images of Downside from our photographic archives.

While it was a real ‘puzzle’ trying to think of new ways to share some of our images, we ‘put the pieces’ together and found out about the website Jigsaw Planet, a world of online jigsaw puzzles. You can visit the Downside Heritage page here and see if you can get a quick completion time. 

Each image is from the archives of the abbey and we will try to upload new ones on a regular basis to keep you on your toes. Also if you have any suggestions for images you would like to see as a puzzle then get in touch on our social media channels or email us here. This is all just a bit of fun and we hope you enjoy the challenge!
