FR JOHN TABOR DOWNSIDE MASS

We were delighted to welcome Fr John Tabor (C91), an old boy of our school, to celebrate Mass at Downside on Sunday 12th May.

Ordained for the Archdiocese of Westminster last Summer, Fr John has been working in a parish, and it was good to be able to invite him back to celebrate the Sunday Mass. He was clear that the routines of prayer established whilst at Downside were fundamental to his life and he was grateful for all that Downside had given him not only when in the school, but also on his regular visits. Fr John gave First Blessings to the congregation after the Mass, and was kept suitably occupied in the task! We wish him well for his priestly ministry.
