Fr. Boniface leads Pilgrims at Fatima Centenary Celebrations!

This week, from Tuesday 11th to Saturday 15th July, Fr. Boniface will lead 32 pilgrims during their pilgrimage to Fatima.

The group includes Fr. Jean-Patrice Coulon MSFS of Holy Ghost Parish in Yeovil, together with parishioners and friends of Downside. They will be present at the very important procession and mass on Thursday 13th July, when those present will especially remember the Blessed Virgin Mary’s message to the three shepherd children given on this day in 1917. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims are likely to be present, so the celebrations will be a significant event in the life of the Church. Whilst in Portugal, in addition to the group learning more about the message of Fatima, they will also be exploring places of interest in the area.
