Epiphany Crib

Downside is unusual among churches in having a separate crib for Epiphany, rather than simply adding the wise men to the Christmas crib.

This is an acknowledgement that the Gospel of Matthew describes the Holy Family as having settled in a house in Bethlehem, and it is also clear that Jesus could be as old as 2 at this stage, since Herod sought the death of the children aged 2 and under. The crib will remain in the church until 2^nd February, the feast of the Presentation. Why not come and have a look?
