CARDIFF CATHSOC COME TO DOWNSIDE

We welcomed the Catholic Society from Cardiff University to Downside once again for their annual retreat at the start of the academic year.

Despite some atrocious weather on Saturday, the group had a great weekend, even braving the rain for a walk in the countryside on Saturday afternoon. The retreatants came to the Divine Office with the monastic community, had two talks from Dom Anselm on the Our Father, and the opportunity for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and confession.

It was a good break from everyday life for everyone, including Fr Sebastian, Br Ambrose and Sr Clare from the Chaplaincy.
