Bristol University Tour

It was a pleasure to recently welcome a large group of students from Bristol University to Downside, where they were given tours of the Abbey Church and the monastery archives and library. 

Dr Simon Johnson conducted the tours ensuring that the students, many from the medieval studies, theology and history classes were able to see our wonderful collections of medieval manuscripts and recusant works.

The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and  we look forward to a continuing partnership with Bristol University.
