BRISTOL CATHSOC RETREAT

On a stormy Friday night a group of intrepid students made their way through wind and rain from Bristol to Downside for their retreat.

Their theme came from St Catherine of Siena’s famous saying, ‘Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire’, using this as a springboard for discussion around the theme of vocation and discernment. They were able to attend the Divine Office as well as having a talk on Discernment by Dom Anselm and a stimulating Q&A with him and Br John. We hope to see them again before too long.
