Bath Preservation Trust Visit

Recently the monastery archives and library were visited by Thomas Sheppard, chairman of Bath Preservation Trust and Debbie James, curator of the Herschel Museum. 

The visit follows on from our successful exhibition at the Herschel Museum ‘Science and Spirituality. Astronomy and the Benedictine Order.’ This exhibition is hopefully the first event in what will be a long standing partnership with the Trust.

Keeper of the Archives and Library, Dr Simon Johnson gave a tour of the Abbey Church before heading into the library to see our wonderful collections. 

The exhibition at the Herschel Museum runs until 12th December.
